Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Health Education
The Education Act 1964 states that it is a legal requirement for schools to consult on the scope and emphasis of Health Education.

Are you happy with the current health programme we deliver at St Paul’s?

All the areas listed below are covered in the classroom programme at the appropriate classroom levels. We wish to identify any needs/emphasise our parent community may have. Many of these health areas are also covered as part of the Religious Education programme.

Please tick the area/s you think should receive additional attention (leave bank if you are happy with the current coverage). Examples from each area are:

Mental Health: Person identity, communication, abuse and harassment, recreation, respect for others.
Sexuality Education: Growth patterns, positive self-image, feelings, media influences, relating to others, changes at puberty.
Food and Nutrition: Healthy food choices, celebrations, cultural significance, food costs, budgeting.
